Privacy Statement
We are committed to being transparent when we process your personal data. This Privacy Statement (hereinafter referred to as the "Statement") explains how Eurasian Resources Group (hereinafter referred to as "ERG", "we") handles personal data of current and potential employees, customers, suppliers of the company and other third parties. ERG strictly complies with privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), as well as local laws.
This Statement explains in detail what types of personal data we collect and how we work with that personal data. It also describes the measures we take to keep your personal information secure and your rights in relation to your personal information that we hold. To understand some of the terms used in this Statement, we recommend that you review the definitions provided in the glossary. In addition to this Privacy Statement, we also publish a Cookie Statement which provides additional information about how you can protect your privacy when using this site.
Use of personal data
We may process your personal data for legitimate business purposes related to the management of an employment, contractual or other relationship with you, as well as the conduct of our business. We may collect, use and share your personal data through automated data processing systems and/or paper-based data processing systems. We have organized the operation of standard data processing functions, such as processing data for regular payroll and benefits and for settlements with suppliers. We also process personal data on an occasional or ad hoc basis in the context of an employment relationship and when suppliers or customers submit requests for information relating to personal data,
Personal Data We Collect
In the course of our interactions with employees, job seekers and contractors, we may collect data necessary for personnel management, including:
- Information provided in connection with the vacancy, such as personal data indicated in a resume or in an automated online questionnaire;
- information about immigration status, eligibility to work and residence status;
- identification data;
- contact information in case of emergencies, as well as information about relatives (to a limited extent);
- information about the employment agency and time records.

ERG also collects personal data in the course of fulfilling its legal obligations (for example, to comply with government requests and conduct due diligence).
When collecting and processing personal data, we limit ourselves to the extent necessary for the purposes of the respective data processing operations. If we process your data for any other purpose, we will inform you of these new purposes.
Cross-border data transfer
We may transfer your personal data outside of the country in which you live or work, including to countries that do not offer a level of personal data protection equivalent to that of your country, where the following criteria are met.
- When transferring and/or disclosing data within the ERG Group, the protection of personal data, if it is necessary to transfer it outside the jurisdiction where this data was collected, is provided by the Intragroup Agreement.
- When transferring and/or disclosing data outside the ERG Group, data protection is ensured by contractual provisions on data confidentiality. This includes, in particular, an assessment of the compliance of cross-border data transfer with the requirements of applicable legislation on ensuring the confidentiality of personal data;
- The consent of the relevant personal data subjects to the transfer or disclosure of these data has been obtained; or
- Transfers and/or disclosures are required by local law or expressly permitted by local privacy laws and the relevant personal data is collected in that jurisdiction.
We ensure the protection of your data:
We keep your personal data secure and protected from accidental, unauthorized or unlawful processing, including protection against loss and unauthorized access, destruction, use, alteration or disclosure. This means that we take all necessary technical, physical and organizational measures at all stages of the "life cycle" of personal data. The obligation to protect personal data arises whether your personal data is stored in paper or electronic form (eg in databases). Access to your personal data is provided to persons within and outside ERG in accordance with the need-to-know principle.
Group entities are required to immediately report any breach of the security of your personal data to the ERG Compliance Officer for Data Protection for investigation.
We keep your personal data for a limited period
Your personal data is only retained for as long as is necessary for the legitimate purposes for which the data is being processed (as set out in notices sent to relevant individuals), or as long as required or permitted by local law. After this period, the records containing your personal data will be securely destroyed (if the data is recorded on physical media) or permanently deleted (if the data is stored in electronic form) in accordance with the ERG Data Retention Schedule or as required by applicable local law.
We respect your rights:
We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Please note that you are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your personal data. In addition, you have the right to:
- submit a request for information about the use of your personal data;
- submit a request for access to your personal data;
- request the deletion of your personal data;
- submit a request to stop processing your personal data;
- be notified if a Group entity makes a decision concerning you based solely on the results of automated data processing and, if necessary, request a human review of such decision;
- file a complaint regarding the processing of personal data; or
- revoke your prior consent to the processing of your personal data by ERG.
There are legal exceptions regarding the exercise of these rights. ERG will consider each request on an individual basis, taking into account the laws of the country in which you are located. Glossary
The consent of the subject of personal data means a voluntary, specific, conscious and unambiguous expression of the wishes of the subject of personal data.
Violation means a detected or suspected case:
- failure to comply with our data security obligations; or
- unauthorized storage, destruction, processing or access to your personal data
Data Protection Compliance Officer: Compliance Function employee who is the first point of contact for data privacy matters in a particular region, as listed on the Data Privacy page of the ERG website.
Subject of personal data: the natural person to whom the personal data relates.
Group entities: all companies, product divisions, structural divisions, global functions and corporate offices that are part of the Eurasian Resources Group.
Legitimate Business Purpose: A purpose related to the performance of ERG's business objectives and consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.
Personal Data: All information relating to any identifiable natural person.
Privacy Statement: Notice to be given to data subjects when their personal data is collected.
Processing: all actions taken with respect to personal data, including collection, use, disclosure, recording, organization, storage, transfer, modification, deletion, destruction, retrieval, access, hosting and other types of work with data.
