The main goal of our system of selection of candidates — to provide the enterprises of the Eurasian Group with qualified employees with the necessary skills and competencies to achieve the set business goals. Over the past five years, the Company has invested 39.1 billion tenge in the social protection of employees and maintenance of the social sphere, which is one of the largest figures in the CIS countries. By 2024, it has built a network of 11 training centers spanning all regions of ERG’s operations in Kazakhstan and delivers comprehensive educational solutions in leadership, operations, safety, project management, and digital transformation.

History

Before 2020

- Around 30% of all training at ERG enterprises was dedicated to occupational safety and industrial professions.
- The remaining learning activities were delivered by external providers.

2020 - 2022

Launch of ERG Unified Training Centers:
- Centralization of training administration services.
- Standardization of mandatory Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) training programs.

2023 year

Establishment of the ERG Corporate University (ERG CU):
- Development and digitalization of corporate learning solutions.
- Implementation of the "Leaders Teach Leaders" system and a full-scale learning infrastructure across all ERG regions.
- Introduction of learning analytics and automation of training services, 100% of courses are available 24/7 (mobile phone or computer).
- Establishment of Academic Council.
ERG CU becomes a member of the ECLF and the EFMD.

2024 year

Awarded the EFMD Excellence in Practice (EiP) Gold Award in the Professional Development category.
Winner of the Grand Prix "Best Innovative Learning Solution" by the HR Association of Kazakhstan.
ERG CU unites corporate universities across Kazakhstan's mining and metals sector and hosts the first national roundtable with industry leaders.
Development of an internal Competency Model and launch of the ERG CU Learning Solution Design course.

2025 year

Becomes the first organization in the CIS to receive the EFMD LIFT Certification.
