Environmental initiatives
ERG construes sustainable development as a responsible management in the areas of environmental impact, health and safety, social development and corporate governance. ERG is committed to the efficient use of resources and to reducing any adverse environmental impact of the Group's production activities. The Group was one of the first in Kazakhstan to introduce formal environmental management systems in the production of ferroalloys, iron ore, alumina, aluminum and electricity.
