Memorandum

  • The first-ever memorandum on cooperation in implementation of social projects was signed with akimats of the regions where enterprises of the Eurasian Group operate: the Aktobe, Karagandy, Kostanay and Pavlodar Regions.

Zhairem GOK

  • The Eurasian Group acquired Zhairem GOK, thus obtaining additional manganese mining assets.

Waste-free production

  • Two jigging units and a crushing and screening unit for slag processing were commissioned at the Aktobe Ferroalloys Plant; this marked another decisive step towards waste-free production.

Railcar fleet

  • The company’s own railcar fleet was formed. A new route for transportation of ferroalloys towards the Pacific Region in transit through the Dostyk - Alashankou border crossing and Chinese ports was opened.
