  • The International Chromium Development Association (ICDA) awarded TNC Kazchrome JSC the status of a Responsible Chromium Producer, one of the first six companies around the world ERG and NFC (China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd.) signed an ЕРС-contract for implementation of the project Construction of Special Coke Production Plant of Shubarkol Komir JSC in Karaganda Region with capacity of 400 thousand tons per year.
  • ERG signed a contract for the supply of 12 dump trucks and two hydraulic excavators with Eurasian Machinery, Hitachi's official dealer in Central Asia. It is one of the largest mining machinery deals in 30 years of Kazakhstan's independence.
  • BAMIN signed a concession contract with the federal government of Brazil for the construction and operation of a section of the transcontinental West-East Railway, or FIOL.
  • ERG, the akimat of the Pavlodar region and Atameken Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs concluded an agreement on the strategy of support and development of commodity producers of the region.
