The first furnace

  • The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev heated up the first furnace of the new Aktobe Ferroalloys Plant, which produced its first metal only a month later.

  • The Company provided support for the 10th professional golf tournament, Kazakhstan Open 2014 – European Challenge Tour.

Winner

  • The Aksu Ferroalloys Plant won the fifth Golden Hephaestus national industry competition in The Best Solution in Energy Conservation category.

Przewalski’s Horse

  • The company supported a programme to reintroduce Przewalski’s horse (which became extinct half a century ago) to Kazakhstan.
